Beauty Doesn't Lie in the Keys

I strike down the keys
of ebony and ivory,
I savor them,
as their tones roll off my fingertips,
I wish to be them

The sweet sounds of joys:
happiness and love
for I have neither,
I'm alone,
Just me, myself, and a piano

The keys are all I have,
I value them,
For they are beautiful.
But the Beauty doesn't lie in the keys,
Only in the person that strokes them
